Our client based in Huntingdon are looking to recruit a Accounts Assistant on a full time permanent basis. The main purpose of this position is to ensure a smooth running of all Accounting Functions, and supporting the administration functions of the business. The successful candidate will: Raise invoices Post all customer invoices Credit Control Allocate payments to invoices Send out statements each month Sales Ledger Management Ensure all Customers are properly set up and all relevant credit checks are undertaken Ensure Accounts are reviewed regularly Covering for Purchase Ledger VAT returns to be submitted within and to the HMRC guidelines All VAT discrepancies to be reconciled within the month Process credit card expenses Process cash expenses on a timely basis, and payments made within the month Calculate annual rebates Other ad-hoc duties If you are interested in the role and feel your skill set meets the requirements above then please apply or call the office and ask to speak with Tyra.
