Finance Manager Wellingborough £40,000 - £45,000 SF Recruitment is currently working with a well known client of ours in Wellingborough. My client is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the Finance function of the business. My client is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to lead and inspire a small finance team. The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for all financial transactions to trial balance. This is a real 'hands on' role for a reputable business in Wellingborough. Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Responsible for the Finance function, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. Manage the Accounts Payable function & the Credit Control function. Manage the cashflow of the business on a daily basis, producing weekly and quarterly cashflow forecasts for submission to group. Responsible for the company trial balance ensuring all accounts are reconciled to the ledgers including the processing of fixed assets, inventory, prepayments, accruals, payroll, bank reconciliations, inter-company etc. Responsible for the maintenance of the company fixed assets register Preparation of the monthly management accounts including month end journals, analysis and submission to group for consolidation. Be main point of contact for the external Audit. Manage the company balance sheet Produce the annual budget for the business along with monthly and quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts. Assist group Finance in the preparation of HMRC submissions including VAT, tax and other government submissions such as national statistics Manage two junior direct reports Any other ad-hoc analysis required by the business or group.
