My client is looking to appoint an interim accountant to assist them while they go through a busy period of change and transformation. The role is likely to be 3 months and will be covering the following key duties: Manage the FP&A process around cost control Challenge current ways of working to move the FP&A from more management reporting focus to commercial FP&A Build effective relationships with both finance and non- finance to drive through changes Build more robust cost model and manage the analysis to provide the business with more robust, commercial reports This role will suit a fully qualified accountant who is used to working as a professional interim with the ability to pick up work with limited handover / guidance and just get on to achieve results and hit deadlines. Please note that this role will be based between a number of sites. Northamptonshire is the primary site but for the initial 2- 4 weeks you will be required to work out of Oxfordshire / Thames Valley locations. Client will flex on start / finish times to allow for travel and cover mileage / parking expenses when not based in the Northampton site.
