Pertemps are currently working with a leading company based outside Glasgow who are looking to add to the finance team. They currently have a requirement for a Treasury Assistant. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Salary up to £21k depending on experience and great benefits. The company also offer free parking. Your main responsibility will be to support the Finance team by processing the cashbook receipts and payments and reconciling the company bank accounts each month. Duties include;
• Process all cashbook receipts as required in relevant currency;
• Process all cashbook payments including direct debits, standing orders etc. as required in relevant currency;
• Processing all cashbook payments in a timely manner to meet banking cut offs
• Post petty cash transactions and reimburse stations as required
• Issuing cheques where BACS payments cannot be made
• Process expenses in line with the expenses policy timelines;
• Monthly bank reconciliations of all bank accounts to accounting ledger;
• Petty cash reconciliations;
• Close cashbook in line with month end reporting timetable;
• Produce non-trading VAT report;
• Filing of cashbook documentation in a timely manner;
• Liaising with the bank regarding queries on bank statements;
• Monitoring and analysing bank charges and interest receipts and payments;
• Assisting colleagues and customers with day to day queries;
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the department This role would suit candidates with experience in a similar role.
