Our clients are recruiting for a number of Audit Senior positions to work in offices based in the heart of London. We are working with a number of top and mid-tier accountancy practices at present all of whom have varied and interesting client bases and are looking to make additions to the team. Our Clients Based in London, our clients are a mix of top-tier, mid-tier and smaller firms that are develop and continue to build their audit teams. The firms manage prestigious portfolios in a variety of different sectors including media and entertainment, retailers, manufacturing, IT and NFP. The Role These are key roles within the Audit team and will report to and work with the Managers in most cases and directly with Partners in some. As Audit Senior the role entails a split of Audit and Accounts. The varied nature of the role offers excellent all round exposure as well as a clear route for progression for nominated staff to enter onto a development programme. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following: Planning, budgeting and executing all Audit assignment from start to finish Working with a range of entities including Listed companies, HNWIs and Owner managed businesses Leading accounts assignments on a range of clients in the Entertainment, Property and Retail sectors You will have full responsibility for all aspects of planning and performing all audit assignments from start to finish, including budgets and client meetings and visits Training, delegating, monitoring and reviewing the work of junior staff on large assignments The Candidate Our clients are looking for the perfect candidate; a high level of education and an abundance of self-motivation. Strong Audit and Accounts exposure are essential in whatever split that be. Ideally candidates will be either ACCA/ACA/CA Qualified or a finalist but will need to have at least 3 years experience in total and at least 1 year in a Senior role. In some cases it will be necessary to drive to clients and in some case public transport will suffice. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: Excellent numerical skills High level of accuracy and attention the detail Effective organisation and time management Ability to delegate and communicate effectively Pro-active and take initiative Able to commute easily to and around London What's on Offer?
