The Company Established North East organisation The Role Providing reports, analysis and commentary for month-end management reporting and leadership reviews Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with previous forecasts Reporting performance on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as required Analysis of large data sets Analyse financial data and create financial models Assist with annual planning process including budget and rolling forecast updates Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/ forecasting tools Preparation of other ad hoc analysis as and when required Work closely with the Financial Control team to ensure accurate financial reporting The Person Experience in a finance analyst or similar role Commercially minded with strong analytical skills Experience of handling with high volumes of complex data and producing reports for multiple entities Strong Excel skills are essential Experience with data query/data management toolsis desirable(Access, SQL, Business Objects) Ideally part qualified or working towards a similiar accounting qualification
