Hamlin Knight are proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation who are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team in Solihull. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have a proven experience working within a busy and productive accounts team with a focus on Credit Control. As a Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for: -Matching supplier invoice and sales orders -Raising sales orders -Chasing overdue debts through telephone and email -Maintain customer overdue debts -Creating and opening new customer accounts -Resolving invoice queries The successful Accounts Assistant will have previous experience and must be able to demonstrate the following skills: -Commercially aware and able to make decisions based on company priorities -Experience with high volume transactions -Previous exposure and knowledge of Excel -Organised; able to prioritise work load -Attention to detail - A strong communicator with customers, suppliers and other departments.
