A private equity backed, start up, online food business is recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst. The role is based in London and reports to the CFO. This is a new role and this you will and take responsibility for designing and implementing Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activities for the business. You will also initiate effective business partnering of marketing, sales, product development and IT departments to drive effective decision making. You will closely partner the senior management team to maximise financial performance. You will take responsibility for working capital, sales forecasting, procurement and purchasing efficiency. Naturally, you will develop a robust controls environment and deliver various ad hoc projects and pieces of analysis you would expect to deliver in a fast-growing online business. The business has achieved impressive growth in the last 12 months, and this is set to continue with exciting plans for further expansion. The successful candidate will be a solution driven qualified accountant with a passion and strong understanding of the online, consumer and food sectors. You will be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment. Naturally, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident dealing with colleagues and third parties at all levels. You will deliver to tight deadlines and have excellent systems and IT skills. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial finance in start up environment. This role is paying £45,000 to £55,000 plus package and is based in Central London.
