Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in the Malton area. Due to growth and acquisitions, they are now looking for a Group Accountant to join a busy and growing finance team. Working with the Finance Manager and Technical Accountant you could be producing statutory reports and financial statements, producing monthly management accounts as well as owning your own key areas of the balance sheet, including reconciliations. You could also be required to support the quarterly review of the balance sheet and audit committee feedback, working closely with the external auditors as well as looking at the integration of acquisitions for the finance manager. That's why we are looking for someone who is either part qualified or fully qualified with ACA or ACCA, preferably from a practice background, but not essential. Someone who is very proactive and demonstrates a lot of initiative with the integrity to match. Someone with excellent communication skills to be able to speak to the wider business. This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.00 with an hour for lunch. Car parking is available and there is also the potential for study support if you are part qualified and looking to finish your qualifications.
