Seeking an experienced Risk Manager to work in partnership with the Head of Risk and all functions across the Bank to drive the implementation and embedding of the Bank's Risk Framework Key Responsibilities To own matters relating to risk governance, training and framework To help embed an effective Risk Management framework across the Bank, driving first line accountability and ensuring key issues are escalated to Senior Management Work with the Risk team to develop a training plan and materials for first line areas, and where appropriate, deliver content Ensure relvant personnel are trained in and understand the risk management framework and their responsibilities in managing risk Work with the Compliance, Credit Risk and Risk teams to actively identify new areas that will require integration into the risk framework Represent the Risk team on formal committees, business wide projects and working groups ensuring that a strong Risk Culture is promoted Build relationships with key stakeholders Ensure COmpliance relating to SYSC and Enterprise Risk Requirements Experience working with, reporting to and influencing the Banks' Senior and Executive management Experience in designing and delivering risk frameworks and training into first line functions. Have an analytical mind and an excellent eye for detail with a methodical approach Experience in designing and managing Enterprise risk frameworks (including risk appetite) preferrable Numerate and technically minded Enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a positive and flexible approach Team player Self motivated
