We are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a small team to provide administrative and accounting support. For this role we are looking for someone who has great Excel knowledge with a high attention to detail and good data entry skills. Accounts Assistant Main
Responsibilities:
• Process and progress central orders through to completion
• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Balance sales and purchase ledgers to statement
• Month-end invoice consolidation
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies
• Maintain pricing database
• Manage, organise and update relevant electronic information using bespoke system software
• Export and receive data in various formats
• Monitor, measure and report with accuracy within agreed formats and timescales
• Communicate and provide information both internally and externally
• General administrative duties, to include telephone calls, email queries, meet and greet visitors etc Our client is looking for:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook
• To be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
• Good attention to detail; accuracy is very important
