Finance officer needed in Lincoln £11.77ph ref (phone number removed) This is working full time hours on a temporary basis. Role is to oversee the monitoring and control of this work with respect to: Financial management Cost benefit analysis and identifying opportunity for cost savings Statistical reporting Forecasting and projections The post holder will be required to: Shape and further develop the model and operational procedures Provide a single point of access on finance questions for service leads Ensure consistent attendance and challenge at Community Fund Assurance Group (CFAG) meetings Be an active link between LCC and LPFT financial transactions and help inform a more refined forecast spend position Ensure that CFAG meetings continue to be more detailed with all decisions made, with challenges made where appropriate, and justified and accurate reporting Analyse the data to recognise trends, peak activity and above-cost care packages Make innovative recommendations and ensure decision makers have sufficient understanding of any complex issues to enable sound business decisions to be taken that are in line with Best Value and Value for Money principles. Qualifications: The post holder will need to hold an AAT Qualification, and must be willing and able to travel and keep to appointments
