This is an interesting opportunity with a boutique investment manager who specialise in insurance investments for UHNW and HNW individuals. They are looking for someone re-train into a Client Director opportunity (initially starting as Client Manager for 12-24months during training). Once fully trained you would take over the management of a portfolio of clients and their investments, you would also be seeking new clients for the firm. They are looking for someone who has spent time within the insurance markets, ideally focused around Private Client / HNW / UHNW / similar industries. You should work within a client facing role and be used to liaising with a wide variety of HNW individuals ranging from business owners to independently wealthy and be able to adapt your style to each appropriately. The role itself will see you managing the portfolio of clients, discussing their investments and risk profile, advising on changes to risk strategy - in conjunction with the research team, assisting them with queries and changes, advising on new investment opportunities and how they compare with existing portfolio, identifying through business development new clients for the group. Within your first 12-24mths you will receive full training on the solutions offered, how the company operates, the detail around providing advice, and any nuances as appropriate. You will also be introduced to clients as part of the handover process. This is an outstanding opportunity to make the transition from an Insurance advisory role into a more investment focused position, managing client's portfolios and relationships. You must have experience of liaising with high profile individuals whose personal assets are being insured.
