Robert half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a market leading organisation based in Leicestershire. Due to the firms location they are commutable from Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Warwickshire. The organisation is a FMCG company with the focus on providing excellent customer service. They are a privately owned organisation with a turnover in excess of £140 million pounds a year. The client is looking for a candidate who has 1- 2 year's experience within finance. Ideally you will be studying towards your AAT qualification or be in the early stages of CIMA or ACCA. You will be in the early stage of you're Accounting career or looking to move from a transnational role into Management Accounting. This is a developing role and will work towards becoming a Management Accountant in 2-4 years - they have a great career structure. If you are ambitious, have an eye to detail and searching for a long-term career then this is the role for you Main Duties & Responsibilities Assisting the Management Accounting team Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Posting and checking journals Month end accruals Distribution of monthly management reports Bank reconciliations Balance sheet preparation Ad hoc projects Requirements Actively studying towards or qualified AAT / Early stages of CIMA or ACCA Excellent communication and interpersonal skill A great sense of humour - its a fun place to work Salary - £18,000 - £22,000 plus full study support Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
