Salary:

About the role: Working alongside team of Financial Accountants with responsibility for the production and accuracy of internal and external financial reporting, including statutory and tax reporting, bank reporting, and monthly management accounts / shareholder reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Timely preparation and review of period end management accounts. Ensure key accruals, prepayments and other adjustments are accurate and posted each period. - Fixed asset register maintenance (additions / disposals / depreciation). - Fixed asset spend reporting. - Preparation of periodic balance sheet reconciliations, GL analysis and supplier statement reconciliation reviews. - Assist with periodic shareholder reporting. - Assist with periodic bank reporting, including cash flow and financial covenants. - Preparation of quarterly VAT / MGD returns, including analysis and investigation. - Assistance with preparation of annual corporation tax computations. - Preparation of annual employment tax reporting (P11D's, PSA, etc.). - Preparation of annual statutory accounts. - Liaise with and provide support to company auditors. - Liaise with and provide support to internal stakeholders (Site and support office teams, Board of Directors). - Assist in the production of periodic forecasts and annual budgets, including EBITDA, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. - Other ad-hoc reporting as required. - Provide a quality service to internal customers to support them to meet their targets and key objectives. - Communicate effectively with others, taking into account the audience to create involvement and buy-in and utilising structured Company communication tools as appropriate. About you: - Part Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or similar) with relevant experience. - Strong Excel skills. - SAP experience preferred. - Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team. - High level of accuracy and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Multi-site retail experience desirable. - Strong organisational skills, including planning and prioritising work. - Adaptable and versatile, responding positively when change is required or plans are altered. - Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues and external stakeholders.
