Schoeller Allibert are looking to recruit a Junior Finance Analyst, reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst. Responsibilities:
The Junior Analyst will provide hands on analytical support to Finance, Commercial and Operations aspects of Schoeller Allibert and will take responsibility for the following: Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting pack including consolidation of financials and key metrics, analysis, insights and commentary Reconciliation of month end Inventory, including journal input and analysis Assisting in driving Business Process Improvement Assist the Snr Finance Analyst in developing, maintaining and improving driver-based planning, forecasting and financial reporting models Assist the Snr Finance Analyst in commercial reviews, deep dives and overall value adding. Support the creation of external packs providing an update on business performance, ensuring all data analysis results are digestible for non-financial stakeholders Participate in a broad range of ad-hoc projects and analysis Behavioural skills: Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to continuously improve the way they work Must be professional and confidential in dealing with projects and have the ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and objectively Able to work well unsupervised and demonstrate initiative Confident at working in a team environment. Ability to change priorities and re-set deadlines to meet the changing needs of the project / internal customer Able to change direction quickly, meet deadlines etc. and maintain a stable performance whilst under pressure and / or opposition Able to prioritize own work, making choices between urgent and important and accepting responsibility for the outcomes Communicates clearly to the level of the audience, checking to ensure that the messages have been received and understood Must be self-motivated, with the ability to also boost the performance of others Must have the ability to encourage others to buy into team objectives and take ownership for results Able to train or transfer own knowledge to others Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals and teams Demonstrates the ability to make decisions where necessary taking into consideration all relevant and available information Task orientated individual, a completer finisher.
