SF Recruitment are currently working alongside a private healthcare business based in Nottingham seeking an Assistant Accountant Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: - Production and review of month end journals - Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts pack - Supporting with the analysis of business performance, reviewing of KPI's and providing relevant commentary to explain variances. - Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Assisting with budgeting and forecasting - Monthly supplier statement reconciliations - Assisting with the preparation of information required for the year end statutory accounts. - Any other adhoc duties as required to support the business The ideal candidate will be working towards their professional qualification of CIMA/ACCA (or the equivalent), have experience of working within a similar role, be proactive and innovative, be an effective communicator and have the ability to work both individually or as part of a team.
