Our client, a high-growth market innovator SME with a fun and flexible culture, is looking for a talented Finance Manager to join its expanding team. This is a great role that's come about as a result of internal promotion and will suit either a recently qualified ACA looking for their first move into a fast-paced, consumer facing industry, or an ACCA/CIMA who has worked in a similar environment, now looking for a step-up. This is a pivotal role within the business, as they continue on a path for growth and change, working closely with the FC to manage all financial transactions and collaborate with various departments across the business, whilst leading a team of 4 across AP and Treasury. Main duties include: Leading month end accounting close, general ledger journals and consolidation of management accounts Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Accounting for payroll and associated taxes Stock valuation and reporting Weekly or monthly KPI outputs, including sales and margin by customer, product and channel Managing and developing onsite finance team, 2 direct reports with a wider team of 4 which is likely to grow Managing online banking system Supporting the preparation for yearend audit and half year interim accounts Key skills & experience include: Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Strong rounded accounting knowledge Attention to detail with strong communication skills Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative Confident and credible character - can build relationships with non-finance stakeholders What is essential in being successful is the desire and passion to be part of a fast paced and dynamic environment coupled with a positive and proactive attitude.
