SALARY UP TO £25KSTUDY SUPPORT, GROWING COMPANY, FAMILY FEEL TO THE TEAM ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - BROMSGROVE, WORCESTERSHIRE- JOB REF: JO20980 We are delighted to be working with a client in the Bromsgrove area who have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join their small accounts team. This ever expanding business are offering a salary of between £20,000 - £25,000 Study Support if required (DOE) with the benefits of a fun & friendly office environment and a very well rounded role. ROLE OVERVIEW:
• Processing purchase invoices for payment and dealing with rejected invoices.
• Matching supplier purchase invoices to purchase orders.
• Preparing CIS returns and sub-contractor/supplier payment runs.
• Processing monthly credit card statements.
• Managing petty cash and processing staff expenses.
• Daily banking.
• Monthly Bank rec.
• Entering payroll information.
• Assisting with filing of VAT returns. Issuing sales invoices to clients.
• Cost allocation to departments and nominal codes. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• 18 months to 2 years experience in a busy finance department.
• Working towards or already AAT qualified.
• Experience with accounts packages such as Sage 50 or similar.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal communication skills. BENEFITS:
