Market Job Description: Wells Fargo provides middle market, large corporate and financial institution customers with a range of international solutions, including treasury management, credit, payments, financing, foreign exchange, and trade services. Wells Fargo operates from 42 countries and territories outside of the U.S., including branches in Ireland, Beijing, Cayman Islands, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Hong Kong, London and Seoul.About the Department:An addition to the function responsible for oversight of Operations processes for EMEA transaction reporting jurisdictions. The successful candidate would work independently of Operations teams performing Transaction reporting processes, and would provide challenge to and monitoring of the existing control suite, as well as ensuring that operations processes are in line with changing business flows and regulations.Overview of the Position:Whilst the role resides within Operations, the successful candidate will work independently of the regional BAU transaction reporting teams to provide oversight and quality assurance over regional transaction reporting processes, controls and governance. The individual will work in collaboration with second and third lines of defence to enhance and maintain governance and control standards across the reporting functions.Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Oversight of Regulatory Reporting work-streams and initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance regional control and governance framework.
• Undertake gap analysis between current reporting standards and rule interpretation.
• Ensure regional control standards are being adhered to by transaction reporting teams.
• Development and performance of monitoring controls to be applied across the regional reporting teams.
• Create metrics and provide challenge to process owners on KPI and KRI metrics.
• Perform deep dive reviews on data submissions for completeness and data quality.
• Manage change requests to address errors identified via diagnostic checks
• Performing hands-on subject matter expertise, including analysis, process engineering and change management as needed
• Develop integrated plans to establish, monitor, manage and report status on key milestones and deliverables for changes to business flow and regulatory change. Market Skills and Certifications: Required Qualifications:
• Transaction reporting experience, specifically relating to MiFID and EMIR regulatory reporting regimes. This should include managing daily submissions and administering a control framework within the first line of defence
• Solid change management experience
• Thorough knowledge of Cash and Derivative asset classes
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
• Highly motivated with ability to drive results
• Demonstrate the ability to identify strategic opportunities and make specific recommendations
• Demonstrate the ability to identify inefficient and/or ineffective processes and provide solution optionsRequired skills:
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong ability to manage multiple work-streams and related tasks
• Highly motivated with ability to drive results
• Ability to provide challenge to process owners on metrics, processes and controls.
• Expertise in designing process flows, diagrams
• Ability to establish relationships with all levels within the organization
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
