My client is a leading Asset Management firm, a new position has arisen within the compliance division in London to focus on advising the business on financial promotions and new product development. An additional European language would be useful German, Spanish, French or Italian as some translation work will be included in the role. Candidates must have previous experience of Financial Promotions relating to UCIT's and Asset Management. Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Acting as a point of contact for all requirements relating to marketing reviews and ensuring company branding and relevant regulatory standards are met.
• Assist in the wider Compliance monitoring programme and work with compliance team to provide general regulatory advice and training to the business
• Monitor, track and communicate developments in EMEA regulation
• Participate in the New Product development initiatives and work closely with senior Compliance management, Legal and the business
• Maintain relevant procedures and the provision of advice and training to the businesses
• Facilitate ideas and engage in projects intended to streamline processes (including the use of system-based approvals) and incorporate new communication techniques in the marketing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 2 years generalist compliance experience within Investment Management, ideally with some experience of financial promotions / marketing materials
• A genuine interest in European financial regulation and financial markets
• A strong team player who is keen to progress, inquisitive and self-motivated
