If yes, then we may have the role for you Our Audit team have an integral role within the Bank as they provide assurance to our Board on core processes and controls. They make sure that policies and procedures are being applied accurately and consistently so that we can continue to deliver amazing products and customer service. So what would you be doing?
• Supporting our Executive Leadership team in overseeing regulatory reporting risks
• Reporting your findings to the audit committee and other colleagues as well as the PRA and FCA (mainly the PRA)
• Improving everything that you touch for your colleagues and customers
• Keeping up to date with regulations as they change
• Making sure that Metro Bank are compliant with rules and regulations
• Understanding and analysing FINREP, COREP (to include credit risk, asset encumbrance, leverage ratio, large exposures and liquidity returns)
• Providing a view on how effective our controls are and interpreting regulatory guidance You need to be this kind of person...

• In order to do this role at the level we require you will be ACA or ACCA qualified
• Your most recent role will have involved auditing and reviewing regulatory returns
• Of course in order to exceed in this role you will have worked for a Retail Bank or building society previously
• It's very important that you have up to date knowledge of the current rules and regulations around regulatory reporting returns
• You will love working independently and have strong attention to detail
• Naturally you will have incredible analytical skills
• It's important that you are a self-starter and a fast learner, and that you are able to support, influence and challenge your colleagues on all things regulatory reporting Diverse teams really are the best teams.
