Finance Assistant Solihull 12 Months Maternity Cover £25,000 - £28,000 DOE Our client is a global company providing technical services to some of the largest UK's & worldwide engineering projects. The successful candidate will be working within the finance team; the key focus of this role is to provide financial and administrative support to the infrastructure group. This role is a 12 month maternity cover contract ideally starting on 16/08. Key Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring projects have been invoiced to client Processing fees Making adjustment to project forecasts on financial system Transactional tasks Staff time/expense transfers Communicating if projects are overspent, reporting the correct figures Financial management focused but involves admin transactions Essential Skills and Knowledge Required Project accountant experience preferred Maybe financial analyst, finance assistant or Billing analyst Financial management experience Candidate needs grasp of basic accounting principles - What is income, profit, draft invoicing for clients, internal budgets, project level knowledge Reward and Benefits Salary £25-28,000 per annum (DOE) Full Time Role (Monday to Friday) There are a list of core benefits, these include cover under the UK Healthcare Plan (private medical insurance), Life Assurance, Accident Insurance and Income Protection (long term disability) cover.
