FRS are assisting a market leading business based in Grantham, with the recruitment of a Management Accountant / Finance Manager. You will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and producing monthly management accounts, and supporting the FD in supporting the business moving forward. The role will be suited towards a candidate with an SME background, working with businesses with a £10-30m turnover. Your day to day duties will include: - Producing monthly management reporting packs, including P&L, balance sheet and cash-flows - Monitoring expense base through development of consistent and relevant financial and strategic reporting, and ongoing strategic development through long term financial planning - Providing analysis and reviewing results with the FD - Processing nominal ledger transactions - Forecasts and budgeting - Completing quarterly VAT returns and submitting accordingly - Working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process - Responsible for the weekly payroll and purchase ledger Ideal candidates will have / be: - Degree qualified (or equivalent) - ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified - SME experience - Strong analytical skills - Experience of preparing budgets and forecasts
