Nottingham Support Office Function area: Finance Shift pattern: Full-time Contract type: Permanent Hours per week: Over 35 hours per week It's the job of continuous improvement managers to coordinate and lead key projects for improvement across all levels of Finance. To drives efficiency, quality, and simplification across Finance by eliminating duplicate efforts, reducing and automating manual work & hand-offs, and minimizing process variation. Key Responsibilities Identify, lead delivery of strategic CI (Lean Six Sigma) projects to achieve financial targets, by using LEAN Six Sigma and Process Improvement methodologies, tools and techniques and appropriate project management & change management concepts Deliver training and support leadership teams in embedding CI as 'the way of working' Participate in the ongoing development of the CI training portfolio, tools and project review processes Optimise finance process by re-designing, improving and delivering value added processes and service Update training material where needed, keep it relevant, fit for purpose & future proof. Conduct & support problem solving exercises to identify & eliminate root causes & sustain improvements A bit about you... Educated to degree level or equivalent, business discipline is preferred A recognised certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, minimum Significant experience of project leadership & successful, on time delivery, in full across matrix / cross functional Experience of training & coaching Yellow Belts Strong ability to engage others in CI at all levels of the organisation Hands on experienced, able to diagnose, consult as well as drive, lead & deliver - a 'do'er' Influencing stakeholders Minitab, SharePoint & MS Office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio an advantage High Energy; Self Starter; Resilient; Perseverance; Adaptable and Flexible A bit about us...
