Now that we`ve got your attention with the job title, this is the part where we tell you that this isn't actually a Credit Controller position - but it is someone with a proven Commercial Credit Control background that is being sought to take up the position of Credit Management Consultant. If you are an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to use your skills and experience but now also do something a little different, then please read on. We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to be further challenged and gain new skills and experience in the role of Credit Management Consultant within a commercial debt recovery environment. Applicants should have at least 3 years' experience in Credit Control and be an expert at telephone payment collection and recovery and negotiating repayment terms and / or settlement options. You will be a professional but direct, confident and resilient individual who is able to adapt to ever changing priorities, work with high call volumes and be able to use your own initiative to prioritise cases. You will be an experienced Credit Controller who is looking for a new challenging role where you will receive ongoing in-house ongoing training for you to become fully proficient in the role of Credit Management Consultant. Applicants with the required experience and who have also worked in the construction industry or similar, or with a business with a high turnover (perhaps around 7/8 million pounds plus), and / or have dealt with debtor values of around minimums of £7000 - £10,000 would be of particular interest for this vacancy. Applicants must also be experienced and competent in all aspects of MS Office, Excel in particular. The starting salary for this full-time permanent role is between £20,000 - £23,000 depending on experience, and you would also be able to earn around another £2000 - £3000 per year in line with your recovery successes. Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
