Please note that the Credit Controller must have recent income collection experience within Local Authority/ Housing association. This is an exciting opportunity for an Credit Controller with experience of credit control and debt recovery within a busy customer service environment. Your role is to effectively maximise income for Hackney Housing and our residents and minimise arrears by taking appropriate action to recover debts at various stages of the arrears procedure. You will have strong communication and negotiation skills and be target driven with a positive attitude. You must be able to work on your own initiative which will include home visits and regular telephone and face to face contact with our residents. You will be responsible for casework across a variety of changing areas to meet the demands of the business and report to the Team Leader - Credit Control.
