Corporate Tax Manager / Associate Director Southampton To £60,000 The Company My client is a Top 10 Accountancy Practice who are going through a period of exceptional growth. Based out of their office in Southampton their Tax Team has increased in size and is now standing at circa 45 people with 5 Partners covering Capital Allowances, VAT, Private Client, R&D and Corporate Tax. As a result of this growth they are looking for someone to join their team as a Corporate Tax Manager although there is scope to join as an Associate Director. The Role
• Working with both Owner Managed Businesses and Private Equity backed clients the role is around 30% Compliance work and 70% Advisory work
• You will identify and advise on tax planning opportunities
• Ensure the clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements
• Assist Partners in Business Development and presentations
• Coordinate with other departments where necessary and where it is commercially beneficial to do so
• Manager and mentor junior staff and take an active role in their development Experience
• Must have appropriate qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or similar)
• Prior experience operating as a Manager or the ability to demonstrate this level of seniority
• Experience of identifying and advising on tax advisory projects including restructuring and due diligence
