Financial Controller

Your new company
An apparel design and manufacturing company are looking for a Financial Controller to consolidate their strong business success and manage 9 direct reports. They are currently operating at c.100mill turnover, having grown well in recent years.

Your new role
This is a no2 in Finance position, working alongside an approachable and experienced FD and working as part of a collaborative and dynamic environment. This job manages a team in the UK, with some further reports overseas, based near to the factories. This role involves a lot of business partnering across the teams of around 100 employees in London and there is good progressional exposure. You will be involved with preparing the explanatory report detailing your main findings during the month, checking the accuracy of Management Accounts and ensuring the monthly reports are produced in good time.

What you'll need to succeed
They are looking for someone who really understands what is happening across the business, is proactive and hungry to anticipate challenges before they arise. You will be a qualified accountant with some established post-qualified experience, ideally within the retail or manufacturing sector. The team really look to this person for guidance and support as part of a vibrant, friendly and fast-paced culture.
