Your new role
This Project Accountant role is based in team that consist of 3 people, and you will work closely with the core finance department of 6 people. The project Accountants are commercially focused revenue accountants who work closely with a wide range of non-finance and financially experienced staff to achieve higher profit margins and stronger cash positions. The Project Accountants work with the client services teams to monitor the progress of projects, investigate variances to budget, and ensure that billings are issued to customers in a timely and accurate manner. Their role is responsible for leading the month end revenue recognition and forecasting process and for reporting on the performance of each business within the group, providing insight into project, account and agency profitability, and supporting commercial decision making across the group.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to be commercially focused, or possess an interest in commercial accounting. You will ideally be AAT qualified or studying CIMA/ACCA. You will need to have strong Excel skills and be an excellent communicator.
