Page Personnel is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for leading, national business, with key finance offices based in Bradford.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working in a fast-paced team, reporting into a qualified accountant, responsible for assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however, are not limited to, posting accruals and prepayments, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, taking responsibility for parts of the general ledger, providing detailed analysis to key stakeholders and assisting with budgets.
This role is ideal for an early-stage CIMA studier or a graduate looking to utilise exemptions that have already gained some experience within a month-end finance role, and are looking to build upon this.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in an accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously
- Be degree educated/AAT qualified
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
