This Internal Audit Manager role is with a non-departmental public body based in Birmingham city centre who can offer the opportunity to work from home on occasions. They have a very inclusive working culture and are a values-driven organisation.
Your new role
You will be joining an in-house internal audit team, which is supported by a co-source arrangement, and report directly into the Head of Internal Audit. You will work alongside the co-sourced provider to deliver the annual audit plan. You will have exposure to a wide variety of audits including, but not limited to, financial audits, grant audits, risk management, governance, HR & payroll audits. You will also have direct line management responsibility for 1 junior team member.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. IIA/ACCA/ACA) with recent and relevant Internal Audit experience. Prior exposure to the public sector or a funding environment is advantageous, as is an awareness of investigations processes, but this is not essential.
What you'll get in return
£30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience) + excellent pension + benefits
