Interim Accountant Temporary Fixed Term Contract Shropshire

Hays are working with a large multi-site manufacturing business based in Shropshire who have a temporary fixed term contract vacancy within their finance department.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will provide financial reporting and analysis to support business decision making as well as working with stakeholder managers to provide commercial & performance information. Key responsibilities will include monthly performance analysis, variance analysis vs forecast as well as budget preparation. You will also provide detailed monitoring of cost as well as balance sheet reconciliation. Working in a continuous improvement culture you will help develop KPIs, identify improvements in month end process and help develop systems to improve efficiency of reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant or qualified CIMA/ACCA. You should have previous knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings and month end accruals as well as previous experience working within a large manufacturing business. You will be available to start this job asap and able to commit to a temporary fixed term contract.
