Your new role
This Financial Controller position will be the number 1 in finance on site and have full control of the monthly and annual accounts of two companies, whilst also being responsible of any other financial related activities on site. You will manage a team of 4, and collectively ensure monthly and quarterly accounts are produced on time whilst also producing costing models and margin analysis where required. Along side this you'll manage the sites payroll, prepare corporation tax calculations liaising with the tax advisers, assist in strategic decision making, manage and review the VAT, IPR and Intrastat.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant either chartered, certified or CIMA, with experience working within a manufacturing / engineering / aerospace industry, with SAP experience desired. You must be competent in producing management and statutory accounts, whilst having the ability to make recommendations, and subsequently implementing improvements, to increase profitability or reduce costs, whilst maintaining customer service. Knowledge of US Branch accounting would be advantage, along with tax experience.
