Offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analytical professional to join its Management Information team within Finance at Band B2 (HEO/SEO). Reporting to the People and Finance Analytics Lead, the successful candidate will contribute significantly towards building the management information capability of the Corporate Centre and wider department. This role will offer the opportunity to oversee the management of the Department's workforce data and maximise its value and impact across. The role will require stakeholder partnering at all levels to deliver meaningful analytical projects and Business Intelligence solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the analytics lead to develop our Management Information strategy including identifying which tools and packages will best support departmental decision making
• Contributing towards the management of workforce data and end-to-end production of workforce statistics
• Analysing large and complex data in a timely manner to report on emerging workforce issues, and hence drive improvements and innovation across the organisation
• Creative development and implementation of data visualisation across the department, including board-level dashboards
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, as well as other appropriate tools and techniques to gather, store and organise people data in an efficient and user-friendly way
• Working with stakeholders to build analytical capability within their teams e.g. seeking out self-serve solutions, providing training on data handling and processing when required
• Identifying and streamlining data queries according to stakeholder needs, taking into account data protection and sensitivity
• Managing responses to PQs and FOIs on people data
• Managing data submissions to Cabinet Office, HM Treasury and the Office for National Statistics
• Managing ad-hoc corporate projects and effectively prioritising competing demands across stakeholder groups
