Management Accountant

A Business Unit Management Accountant job for at least six months, with a market leading technology business.

Your new company
A market leading technology business with a number of business units and a significant presence in Manchester.
Your new role
You will deliver a monthly financials reporting pack, including P&L and BU Balance Sheet, for a key business unit in the UK. This will include month end close and providing analytical review and challenge, driving improvements to accuracy and the quality of management information. You will help drive forward business unit specific initiatives and ensure financial support over key project initiatives around the wider business. You will provide ad hoc analysis to head office. The role will also involve analysis of overheads and cost centre spending and the investigation of key variances. You will engage with various stakeholders around the business as a key business partner.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience, in a large and complex business. Previous experience of ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle would be an advantage. You will be available to start quickly and happy to commit to a period of at least 6 months.
