Permanent Finance Data Analyst in Perth, Salary negotiable depending on experience + other benefits

My well established client based in the Perth area are seeking a permanent Finance Data Analyst. Salary is up to £28,000 depending on experience + competitive pension, life insurance and 28 days annual leave.

Your new role

You will play a key role in generating rich insight for use by the business within finance, sales and marketing through analysis of a variety of internally and externally sourced data. You will produce a range of reports designed to inform both marketing strategy and local sales activity, so must be able to process data effectively and interrogate statistics to produce actionable insights. You will regularly present the findings of your analysis to a range of stakeholders across the business (e.g. to Finance, Marketing, Sales and Executive team). You will access relevant data, analyse key trends, combine findings from multiple sources, draw conclusions and make business recommendations. You will form regular reports, in response to specific requests and to support business goals. You will work with multiple systems to extract data and combine in an easily understandable format with value adding commentary and analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have extensive experience within a data analysis and reporting role and will have strong numeracy skills. You will ideally have a University qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. statistics, accountancy, maths or economics. You will have experience of generating a broad range of reports from various data sources appended with commentary and key observations. You will have experience of providing feedback to senior stakeholders. You will be experienced in Microsoft Excel to an Advanced level. You will have strong logical and analytical skills; an inherent problem solver and have experience in analysis, data analysis or variance analysis working with large data sets.
