Financial Accountant - Global Business - ACA/ACCA - Up to £50,000


Your new company
A global company with its European Head Office based in South Manchester are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join the business. The company has grown quite considerably over the last 4 to 5 years and has expanded considerably within the EMEA region.

Your new role
This reports in to the Financial Reporting Manager who is very supportive and will support the regional accounting and compliance function, advise the business on a wide range of UK, EU, and international accounting matters, and liaise with external auditors, advisors and local statutory authorities. You will support all local statutory reporting requirements across the EMEA region, prepare management accounts according to local GAAP regulations, tax provision preparation or other needs of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be to either ACA/ACCA qualified and have strong technical finance knowledge. Either a practice/audit background or experience of working within a shared services environment is essential. You will need to to be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. Ideally you would have expertise in dealing with complex accounting issues such as acquisitions and knowledge of US GAAP.
