Acting as the No.2 to the UK MD, you will take full ownership of finance but also involved in driving the business through commercial decision making.

Our client is a £40m turnover retailer based in Lincoln, they are seeking a first-time FC but will consider already established FC's who are potentially looking to broaden their horizons. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and secure great exposure within a strong SMT.

Description

As Financial Controller you will support the Group CFO and UK MD in controlling all aspects of the finance department. Managing a team of 3, you will be responsible for the A-Z of the accounting function. You will prepare the monthly management accounts, be responsible for all year end and statutory accounts and be the main point of contact with the auditors.

Working with the Group CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the annual budget process, cash flow management and working with the banks. This is a strong mix of hands-on accounting but also strategic commercial work to help grow the company.

Profile

  • ACA/ICAS, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • PQE within the SME space
  • Strong communicator and able to engage people in the numbers

Job Offer
