Are you a qualified and experienced tax accountant with strong tax knowledge who can demonstrate the ability of interpreting and applying tax legislation, committed to continuous development and able to communicate at all levels, providing advice to non-finance specialists?

Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading higher education organisation based in Cheltenham. Our client is looking for a CCAB qualified permanent, part time Tax specialist who is committed to delivering a high standard of service. You will be primarily responsible for;

• Handling all VAT and Corporation tax matters
• deal with both professional advisers and HMRC
• You will be the primary contact for all staff on projects/ contracts
• Provide tax advice to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate records for the management of accounting of endowment funds
• manage and develop the Financial Accounts Endowment Administrator.

To be successful in applying for this vacancy the client is looking for a candidate who has experience of working in a tax environment as well as be CCAB qualified. In return for this permanent, part time position the client is willing to offer a pro rata salary between £38,000 - £49,000 per annum DOE. On top of this you will be offered a fantastic pro rata'd package including 37 days holiday, generous contributed pension scheme and access to excellent discount scheme.
