Payroll Manager Uttoxeter Permanent

Your new company
You will be working for a successful manufacturing company based in Uttoxeter, if you've a background in payroll, are a born people manager, and are ready to challenge the way the business does things, to have a positive impact, there's never been a better time to join this company.

Your new role
You'll be responsible for the full end to end payroll cycle across multiple payrolls, including timely and accurate statutory compliance, completing regular and robust audit checks and weekly reconciliations. You'll head up a team of Payroll Advisors, managing their workload, overseeing the delivery of personal objectives and development plans, answering their queries and motivating them to high levels of service delivery and efficiency. You'll build strong internal relationships, maintaining and building on the payroll profile throughout the organisation. In addition, you'll support the delivery of core HR programmes around time and attendance, management information and systems implementations. You'll play a key part in helping to deliver the wider HR strategy and 2020 vision.

What you'll need to succeed
Heading up a talented team, you'll need proven experience - both in the payroll industry and in people management. You'll have experience of Zellis HR and Payroll systems, including Resourcelink, and be proficient in maximising the use of a time and attendance system to drive accurate payroll data. A great communicator, you'll be a stickler for accuracy, attention to detail and meeting deadlines. You're also someone who looks to bring about positive change, whether that's in the processes or people you're managing. What's more, your enthusiasm ensures your suggestions aren't just talked about, they happen!
