Financial Controller - SME - Manufacturing - Altrincham - Up to £50,000 plus benefits


Your new company
A well established manufacturing business based in Altrincham are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their company. This business is market leader within their field and work with blue chip organisations across multiple industries.

Your new role
This role reports directly in to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal part in the ownership of the financial and commercial sides of the business. You will be responsible for managing the day to day finance activities of the business which include the production of management accounts, managing the cash flow and P&L, have responsibility for the budgetary/forecasting process which includes coaching the Department Heads in the production of business plans. You will have one direct report who is part-qualified.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and have experience of working within a similar role for an SME. Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but not essential. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work and be happy to get involved with day to days tasks as well as more commercial duties. You will need to have strong MS Excel skills and be an excellent communicator both written and verbally.
