Your role

Do you specialize in compliance, conduct and operational risk? Are you able to communicate freely and with a partner-like confidence on various business levels? We are looking for someone wants to:
• provide support to the Poland Compliance Officer with tasks such as:
o support delivery independent risk assessment and reports that shed light on our risk profile
o support investigations
o provide business management with controls, training, frameworks, information and insights required to manage risk
o train the employees on the Bank's conduct rules
o maintain knowledge articles
o maintains local policies and checks those requirements are met
o undertake review and impact assessment of new Polish regulations
• provide support to the Global C&ORC CC Operational Risk Manager
o ensure monthly updates and status for risks owned within function are complete
o assist with end to end closure pack cycle including content reviews
o assist with preparation of materials for functional risk committee and tracking of actions
o assist with bi-annual KPCi assessment

Your team

You’ll be working in Zabierzow in the Compliance & Operational Risk Control Corporate Center (C&ORC CC) team supporting the Compliance Officer for all of UBS' operations in Poland – including Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw. In addition you will also provide support to the Global C&ORC CC Operational Risk Manager to ensure our risks are known, managed and understood. You will report directly to the Chief of Staff of C&ORC CC based in London.

Your expertise

• a university degree – preferably in law, business, economics
• min. 3 years of experience in a corporate / international environment
• 1-2 years' experience in risk management, risk control, audit or compliance – or equivalent area
• sound know-how in the analysis of business processes
• willingness to travel so that all locations in Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw are covered
• Fluency in English & Polish
