An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant role based in Derby. You will be working for an ever growing organisation specialising in data storage solutions for both small scale organisations and multi-national businesses. They work closely with their offices around the globe in areas such as the USA and Canada in sectors such as education, media and aerospace. Due to expansion within the organisation they are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

Your new role

In your new role as an Accounts Assistant you will take an active involvement in month end duties, including managing accruals, reconciliations and journals. You will be working alongside a colleague and other members of the team on problem resolving and often having the opportunity to work closely with the USA. You will be part of an excellent office environment with a strong team spirit and the ability to get involved in all aspects of office life. There are also opportunities to work on a flexible basis.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role will be essential for success in this role. You should feel comfortable with all aspects of month-end accounts, bank reconciliations and reports. Qualified by experience or part-qualified candidates will be considered and experience using NetSuite is desirable. You should be a conscientious individual with the will to get involved and work well within a team.
