Important role to play where you will be assisting the Finance Manager with month-end processing. Responsible for month-end accruals and prepayments, supporting the budget and forecasting.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Month-end accruals and prepayments
• Assistant Finance Manager with month-end processing
• Support the budget and forecasting process
• Manage and maintain the cash books and reconcile to bank statements
• Manage the inter-company process, agree balances, process invoices and make payments
• Support the standard costing process
• Manage the direct debit payments
• Creation of electronic banking payments
• Processing of staff travel and subsistence expenses
• Quarterly VAT reporting to HMRC and reconciliation of account
• Manage the duty deferment account
• Allocation of payments against invoices
• Maintain and balance petty cash floats
• Adhere to monthly deadlines
• Provide cover for the payroll officer
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent working knowledge/experience of Excel (V Lookup and Pivot Tables)
• Ability to produce work of an excellent standard
• Month end reporting experience
• Experience working within an SME
• Experience of working with SAP
