We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join one of out clients based in the Group Finance Department. Qualifications Required 4 GCSEs A-C or 4-9 (including maths and English) Full Description Reporting to the Company Accountant and Trainee Accountant, the successful candidate will assist with the accurate and efficient processing of all financial data within the Group Finance Department and maintain financial controls whilst staying within statutory regulations. responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
• Coding, processing and inputting supplier invoices
• Take incoming supplier calls and resolve supplier queries
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Coding and raising legal and supplier payments
• Cashbook maintenance and bank reconciliations
• Data inputting
• Filing, scanning and photocopying
• Manage daily post
• Be proactive in identifying issues and the action of change
• Observe strict confidentiality in respect of information contained in correspondence Any other duties related to the work of the Department as directed by the Senior Accountant/Trainee Accountant or Group Financial Controller
