FP&A Analyst

An FP&A Analyst role in a major insurance business based in the City of London

Your new company
This company is a Lloyd's Managing Agency based in the City of London. They are part of of a major group, but in this business they have a lean team of impressive individuals all hired because of their entrepreneurial approach and commitment to working at a high level. They've recently gone through a phase of acquisition, and are looking to build their commercial finance team to support the growth of the business with enhanced strategic financial information.


Your new role
This role reports directly into the Head of FP&A and would give you the opportunity to take ownership of the preparation of analysis across a range of business lines. This is a very forward looking role, taking major involvement in business planning and three to five year forecasting. You will also be working closely with investors to provide ad hoc reporting, as well as preparing MI for senior leadership on a project basis.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience working within the insurance industry. You will also need to have advanced Excel skills and have the confidence to business partnering with a number of teams. A genuine interest in commercial finance is desired, however hands on analytical experience isn't essential.
