Job Details
A Retail company in St. Albans are recruiting a Travel Retail Planning Specialist on a permanent basis due to growth. This is a busy and varied role paying a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 with excellent benefits.
The role will involve sharing sales information between departments, producing a sales forecast, liasing with staff overseas and managing the critical path. This role is very fast paced and involves alot of report writing so an advanced Excel user is essential

My client are a leading design and retail company based in the heart of St. Albans. They have a global presence and manufacture their products in the USA, Italy and China. You will be part of a large and collaborative team and be given excellent training and career progression.
Description
- Reporting into a hands on Retail Team Manager
- Based in a large head office function
- Cooperative with key accounts to share sales information and produce a sales forecast
- Acting as an interface between the planning department
- Producing purchase plans for key accounts
- Setting up production and distribution plan for special projects
- Managing and monitoring dedicated stock
- Working closely with the sales team
- Report writing on Excel and SAP
- Customer Support, processing and managing orders
- Advising customers on stock availability
- Responsible for the management of the critical path from the placing of the order to the final delivery
Profile
- Living local to St. Albans
- Must be an advanced Excel user, proficiency in SAP would be ideal but not essential
- An Italian speaker is highly desirable but not essential
- A background in a similar role is essential, ideally in international shipping or Logistics
- The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Logical thinker with excellent communication skills
