Management Accountant needed for a growing business based in South Essex, £45k - £47k depending on experience


Your new company
You will be working for a business that is growing based in Brentwood. You will be reporting to a Financial Controller that has been at the business for 10+ years therefore when you join you will be supported by someone that really understands the business and finance department. The company is part of a multinational group however still enjoys the ability of working autonomously and a significant level of control over business decisions.

Your new role
The business is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller with monthly reporting of the UK entities within the group. You will be responsible for taking ownership of the monthly management accounts process, budgeting and strategy support, month end and KPI reporting. This is a newly created role within the business following centralisation from smaller companies within the group.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced Management Accountant, preferably with experience from working in an SME organisation. Our clients preference is for someone that is fully qualified ACCA / CIMA but they will also consider someone at the final stages of qualifying. Candidates must also have a high level of self-motivation and commitment of working to a high standard while hitting tight deadlines. A strong understanding of finance systems is essential along with in-depth knowledge of MS Excel (Vlookups and pivot tables). Previous experience of using SAP would be a significant advantage however training will be provided.

What you'll get in return
Pay will be dependent on qualification and experience but will be between £45,000 - £47,000 per annum. Benefits also include: 25 days holiday plus auto enrollment pension.
