Location : Wigan Up to £24k - DOE I am recruiting on behalf of an energetic, fast paced organisation in the Wigan area who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accounts & Audit Assistant to join their growing business. The Company is keen to employ dynamic individuals, therefore the Semi-Senior Audit & Accounts Assistant will be confident, can build relationships with ease, liaise with clients at all levels, you will be robust and also be capable of dealing with many different tasks throughout the working day. You will be articulate, presentable and have a very strong attention to detail, you will be organised, methodical and work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. The Role of Semi-senior Audit & Accounts Assistant will be to support & be an integral part of the Audit team as well as Finance, along with a customer facing perspective too, therefore you will need to be friendly and accommodating while having the relevant experience: Assisting on audits for medium and large sized companies/groups (to accompany the 'senior' heading up the job and an audit assistant) CCH audit automation and iris accounts production Prepare some CT600's - (Tax department prepare the remainder) Personal tax returns / VAT Carry out external and some internal auditing Transactional finance duties including reconciliations and preparing of the accounts 70% of this role will be audit and my client is looking for a minimum of 2 years experience and someone who fully understands the Audit process within this arena and preferably from a practise background. This is a very much hands on role and some travel may incur so own transport is paramount for this role. My client is offering a great package in return for your hard work and paying up to £24,000 or £21,000 plus a study package.
